To Improve my level of profression as a designer I want to create a successful CV that combines my style of design and shows off my positive aspects. In our lecture with Boo we spoke about how to create a CV design to showcase our strengths as graphic designers. In class we started the lesson by discussing a basic layout of a good CV, for example how far the information should be from the edges and what type of information should and most important shouldn't be included. I had the content of my CV already and it was interesting to learn some items I had it in were either unnecessary including all amount of references or that it had to much personal information on them for example my full address. Although I did find it really reassuring that a lot of my information was correctly written out and had in-depth information of my previous employment experience. Below is my most current CV, I have refined this many times to get to this stage and feel it includes a good amount of information and uses a combination of my own style and simplicity to be successful. I have included a statement that consists on me presenting the reasons why I am employable and my interests. I have also included the previous work experience as a designer and live briefs I have done in the past. Below are samples of successful CVs, these combine simplicity and basic colours. I like the combination of using a logo within the CV design as it creates a sense of who they are, I also want to stick to two tone colours as I do not want to overpower the design with multiple bold colours.
