The HiFest table set up. In this image of the class you can see my artwork at the front circled yellow, as well as the four images pinned up on the wall above the red hand.
Four A5 prints sold at Hifest- an illustration festival in Hastings. I focused on inspirational hip hop artists as my theme. The Lauryn Hill print was also added into the Zine created of the classes artwork. We were recently given a great opportunity as a class by being apart of HiFest - an illustration festival in Hastings. This year I created some A5 prints which were available for sale at the festival. We had the chance to create window murals, animations and much more, however I thought this was a great chance to further my style of illustration and explore ways to designing.
Not only did I create prints, I also included flyers promoting a sportswear line which was created by me and my friend Ellie. Project Female is a dance organisation and new sportswear brand empowering young girls/women to celebrate themselves and each other! I thought this was a great opportunity to promote our brand and learn how to become more aware with selling techniques. HiFest was such an experience to sell our artwork and feel it allowed me to get an insight into the design business. |
