This is the final animation projected onto the Eastbourne tower, my animation is projected at 3:40. I am very happy with my final outcome and think my project was very successful with the help from West End Studios I learnt to animate in an 8bit style and create my full first animation.

Today I continued my project at West End Studios, I decided to look into audio for my animation today, I mentioned what style of sound I would like to use to David- the director and he agreed with the style I choose. I feel David and the people at West End Studios have been very helpful with my projects and have adjusted my work to their critique. When I had technical issues I contacted the team and they were more than willing to help, I feel this kind of group would be great to work with in a professional space as they all work together to improve their work and ability to design.
I continued my work here, getting feedback on what I have done and gained the knowledge to what would make my project a successful one. Day 1 at West End Studios I had a conversation with David ad got some feedback on the current work. We decided to change my original white and red design to black and red, he mentioned how it would show my design lot better on the building as the colours contrast more. Below is the layout for the Studios, I have also added a image of the room I was working in. The Environment was very calm and relaxing at the studios and seemed like many people were stuck in their work space. I think if I was working in a professional environment I would like something like this however maybe one which seemed more like a design studio than a general work space. I do feel visiting these spaces are helping me decide what kind of studio I would like to work in myself .
Working at West End Studios I began changing and editing my design of the tower and started my animation sequence. I did this from 10am-6pm although did find the facilities wasn't equipped for guests due to there being minimal space to work at. I also had a lot of technical issues with the laptop I was given and ended up loosing around 3 hours of work. I do think this was quite a big issue to have at the studio and will see if there are better options of PC's to use on day 2. Today in lesson we had David come in from West End Studios. We discussed peoples initial ideas for the Neon Noel project and got feedback, below was a quick low res mock up of my idea along with the range of colours I wanted to use for certain aspects of the design. Before I go to West End Studios to spend time creating and finishing my animation I want to have the elements ready to animate. I am looking forward to working in a real life studio and understand what it would feel like to work in a professional studio space. I have before visited 'ustwo' which is a studio in London however I did not do any work experience there so this will be a new opportunity for me.
Project 1: Projection Mapping
Eastbourne Christmas Light Show – Neon Noel 2017 Your first project this year is an exciting opportunity to create work with the potential to be part of a live projection mapped Christmas light show in the local town of Eastbourne. It will be projected against the Town Hall tower in front of thousands of people during December 2017! The theme, agreed by the client West End Studios with Eastbourne Council, is The Night Before Christmas. Your brief is to create a short animation of up to 30 seconds long (no longer). It will form part of a longer animation that tells a story. You will each need to produce a set of storyboards and an animation. The student(s) whose work is selected will then complete one week of work experience with the client at their Eastbourne based studios, working on their project.
